I recently bought a five-pack of mini flavored Absolut vodkas. I wanted to have one with dinner tonight but cannot figure out how to open the packaging. Why are you keeping me away from my pear vodka, Absolut?
I decided to create a livejournal for my stories. Yes, I know I don’t put anything in my main LJ but that’s because I don’t remember who has access to it. So if for some reason you’ve really been hankering to read my stuff, go to it.
I started a new AU story. Premise is that Ben was never the mayor of Partridge, but Ice Town and its aftermath happen anyway. Read! Comment!
Apparently Adam Scott was at Jack White’s concert tonight. Why the hell does all the cool stuff happen in NYC?
Today I learned that a song that plays in a commercial (don’t ask me for what) does not have the lyrics “Sometimes I go to Philly.” Apparently, the actual words are “Sometimes I got a feeling.” Who knew?
I decided as a Parks and Rec fan that I must root for the Indiana Pacers to come out of the Eastern Conference. As a Southern Californian, however, I want them to lose to the Lakers or Clippers in the NBA finals. As a realist, I know neither outcome is likely to happen.
Just saw the season finale of Parks and Rec. Most perfect episode of any show, ever. The callback to I’m Leslie Knope was beautiful and Amy fucking knocked it out of the park the whole episode.
I understand—even 7 years later, I still think of my dad all the time and get sad that I don’t have him around for advice. Stupid cancer.
Dear Canadian Parks and Rec fans:
I am not mad at you, but I am furious with City TV for spoiling the final episodes this season of Parks and with NBC for not doing anything about it (if they even can). Mike Schur and everyone else have been trying so hard to keep the results of the election under wraps, and having them spoiled 2 days in advance can do nothing but hurt Parks’ renewal chances. I just don’t see how anything good can come of this.
